It is so well done, and hey, I almost wish I could go and spend a week or two with these young senior Citizens!

Just updated my website with new prices.... I have lowered the price of lots of items, especially the bigger Accuquilt GO! having just done the homework and worked out the costings along with the lower dollar over the past month. So hope I can keep these prices down.
My Baby GO! includes a Value Die and Mat to suit the Baby...this is something most other dealers don't include. The GO! (the bigger one) comes packaged with a Value Die and Mat, but the Baby GO has nothing to let you get up and GO!
I also have the new dies, and also lowered the prices of these from their original posting. These include the cute little Birds, ideal for an applique quilt or decoration.

So go and have a look at http://www.craftandquilting.com.au/ Enjoy!

I am off to Warracknabeal on Thursday week to demonstrate the Accuquilt Cutter then down to Hamilton to see a group that have invited me there too.
Just spent a few weeks in Melbourne, delivered the Wedding ring quilt to the happy couple. They loved it, and it now lives on their bed.
My daughter had a birthday and her son, William had his second birthday a week later. He is such a character, rolls his eyes, pulls faces and has me laughing so much! So this week I have some photos. Two are of William taken this morning at the breakfast table...pulling faces and getting a laugh. Also put a snap in taken just this afternoon and posted on Facebook by my daughter and a pic of James, 6 months...dreaming!

Something Finished!
Wednesday, May 11, 2011
It really is ages since I last posted, so have made a May resolution (is that possible?) to post at least once a week.
Since launching my website http://www.craftandquilting.com.au/ a few months back, I have been so busy going to quilting groups and markets to demonstrate the Accuquilt cutters, that I haven't had a great amount of time to actually make much! I spent a week in Deniliquin in NSW in April and sold 14 Baby GO!'s and 3 GO! Cutters in a week. Of course, those same poeple are now buying extra dies.
I am still hand quilting the Double Wedding ring quilt in the last post, and am making up a knee rug for my 2 year old grandson William! It is coming into winter and when he has dinner..then his bath, it is time to watch a bit of his favourite TV show "In the Night Garden" at the moment. SO.... I thought I'd give him something a bit special, just for himself. So he can sit down and get sleepy...hey, it works for me!

It is cut using the 6 1/2" Tumbler die and the numbers are from Accuquilts Buy and Try range of new dies. I splurged and got the letters as well. Both the numbers and letters are 3" high.
Next I will audition some fabrics for the border... maybe a narrow black, a little yellow and edged with the same blue?
The cute cow fabric I got from a Fat 1/4 swap on the Craft Forum I belong to, http://www.thepickledishpatch.com/OurCraftForum so I decided to use it this way so it managed to spread itself!

I have mentioned to a few ladies that I have been so busy in the last month, with my website, getting ready to go interstate next
month where we are having a trade stall at a motorhome rally, and trying to get up to date with my swaps and the lovely BOM In Pops Garden. I received the last parcel from the BOM the other day, (thanks Pauline), and now in a few weeks hope to find the time to finish off the last few blocks and put it all together.
The most pressing thing is though, the quilt I have been putting together for my Step-daughter and her husband. High-school sweethearts, they married last week after 6 years. I have shown them the quilt., and they love it!
I made it using the Accuquilt GO!'s Wedding Ring dies (its a 2 die set) and it only took me a few hours to cut out most of
the fabric, but not having a pattern I made up the last few blocks as I got closer to sewing them all. The colours are black and white, their favourite, with a slash of the bright pink that was in their bridesmaid dresses, flowers and invitations. I made a pattern to evenb out the edge and corners as my partner, the bride's Dad, didn't like the circle shapes! Anyway, it allowed me a bit of freedom to add more borders until it was the size needed.
I will hand quilt it, so showed it to the couple a few days before the wedding. They got something else from us as a gift, this is a keepsake.
The back was done like this as I ddn't have a big enough peice of fabric, yet had enough scraps to something a bit different. I
hand embroidered a label a few days before. Now to finish it and get on with other things.
